Hickory Grove Athletics is made up of 23 teams participating in 12 different sports for our student body beginning in the 6th grade. Our coaches and student-athletes are committed to excellence as we strive to pursue all that can be gained from sports. Our athletic program assists students in improving and developing physical, personal, and spiritual skills that can be applied to all areas of life.

Hickory Grove is a member of the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA). Since joining the NCISAA in 2002, the Lions have won three state championships (Baseball 2005, Softball 2006) and received several other state tournament bids. Varsity teams compete at the 3A level and are members of the Metrolina Athletic Conference (MAC).
