Pre-Algebra

Offered in the 7th grade, pre-algebra focuses on algebraic reasoning.  In this math course, arithmetic, algebra, and geometry are integrated simultaneously.  The students are required to apply mathematics in real life situations.  Reading/vocabulary is a requirement for these textbooks because students must read to understand mathematics in later courses and must learn to read technical matter in the world.

Bible

Textbook: Bible

6th Grade Bible

The sixth grade curriculum presents three strands of instruction: a survey or overview of the New Testament; an in-depth, personalized study of popular passages; and application of these Scriptures to important issues faced by sixth graders. The materials are marvelously written and designed to capture students’ interest and encourage them to think and become more Christ-like as they enter their pre-teen years. The focus is on personal Bible study and the understanding of principles which can guide all of life’s decisions.

7th Grade Bible

The 7th grade curriculum covers half the Old Testament with an emphasis on developing relationships based on scriptural principals.  Within the study of Genesis through Ecclesiastes students will learn to think from a Christian worldview, apply scriptural truths to their daily lives, develop a Biblical understanding of the Word of God, and build a stronger faith.

8th Grade Bible

The 8th grade Bible curriculum covers one half of the Old Testament with an emphasis on developing relationships based on scriptural principles.  Students look closely at the relationship Israel had with God and relate what they learn to their relationships with God, parents, authority figures, siblings, friends, and schoolmates
