IMPORTANT:

The Charlotte Observer misprinted information about the Hickory Grove football game scheduled for Friday, Sept. 5th.   The Observer stated that the game was moved from Friday to Thursday. THAT IS INCORRECT. The game is still scheduled for Friday. We will be in constant contact with North Raleigh Christian and with the weather service to get the latest information that we can, so that we can make the best decision for all involved with the game.

Football is open to boys in grades 6 through 12.  Hickory Grove houses three football teams which practice daily from late July until November.  The varsity team competes for both a conference title within the Central Piedmont Football Conference as well as competing for a state title as a member of North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA).

Student-athletes must have a current physical/parent permission form completed before participating in any tryouts or practices.  If you are not sure about your child’s status, please contact the Athletic Office at 704-531-3502 prior to the start of the athletic season.
