The Varsity Volleyball team defeated Northside 3-1 on Tuesday. Kaylea Beaudoin led the offense with 15 kills. Meredith Peacock added 14 kills and 8 blocks, Anne Newsome had 32 assists, Andrea Haddad contributed 28 digs, Nicole Karlesky had 1 pancake. The Lions are now 8-7 on the season. The volleyball team appreciates all the students who have been coming to the games to support them. The Lions play tonight here at 6pm.

The JV volleyball team was defeated last night in three games.

The Varsity Volleyball team won 3-0 last night. Kendall Coffey led the offense with 9 kills and 6 blocks. Andrea Haddad and Kayla Hampton both contributed 9 digs each. The Lions are now 5-6 on the season and play again on Thursday at Metrolina.

The JV volleyball team played a great match last night easily defeating Cannon in 2 games. Courtney Wilson served 29 times in the two games. In the first match, it was 17-0 before she lost her serve.

The Varsity Volleyball team was shut out for the second time this season at home. The 3-0 loss makes the Lions 3-5 on the season.

On Saturday (8/23) the Varsity Volleyball team played in a 3A tournament at Forsyth Country Day. The Lady Lions advanced to the semifinals beating North Raleigh and Fayettville Christian during pool play. In the semifinals, the Lions lost a close match to Ravenscroft. The Lions are now 3-4 on the season. (1-1 MAC) (2-3 in 3A games).

Varsity Volleyball opens the season with a 3-1 win against Northside. The Lions defense was lead by freshmen Meredith Peacock with 6 blocks. Anne Newsom had 15 assists and 6 kills. Nicole Karlesky, Emily Long and Kaylea Beaudoin all had 3 kills. The Lions play their first home game on Thursday against Westminister at 6pm.
